Musician, educator, and profoundly convinced that the great musical disciplines are accessible to all, provided you rethink the way of teaching.
Based in France, I taught for years to an audience that traditional methods are often left on the side of the road : adults or teenagers, motivated but convinced not to be " not good enough ", intimidated by music theory, without the time or desire to return to the benches of a music school.
I accompanied a very large number of profiles all different, sometimes atypical, all convinced from the start that the music, " it was not for them "
Spoiler alert : it was for them.
In the course of these meetings, and overcoming my own learning difficulties I have built a personal approach. A method based on the meaning and experience : associate a sound to a color, a gesture, an emotion. Create mental images so vivid that we hear a song, closing his eyes.
This is what I call the sense imaginary : the ability to re-create mentally a sound, a feeling, a music scene full as a memory or a dream. We not only understand the theory : it lives, it appropriates.
Here we learn by playing, practicing, getting the wrong and being corrected, at each attempt. Applications Note Precision accompany each module as a mentor standing : they guide, edit and adapt to your progress. The more one is fixed often, the more you progress, the faster it is the heart of the approach.
It is this philosophy that I have wanted to gather in L. U. C. I. D. : Playful, Universal, Creative, Innovative, Dynamic. A platform born out of a simple observation :
Too much d’gifted to underestimate not for lack of talent, but because the methods do not know how their brain learns. It was time to change this.
The first module is available. Others will follow, as the method continues to grow.
